On November 11, 2022, we celebrated Poland Regaining Independence at our school "🤍""❤️"

"🎻""🎹"The event was even more special because it was the culmination of the project concerning the life and work of the wonderful Polish-Lithuanian musician FELIX YANIEWICZ "🇵🇱" "🇱🇹" Our school was invited to this project by Yaniewicz's great-great-great-granddaughter - Mrs. Josie Dixon.

This is a great honor for us"🥰"

We are the first school in the world to implement this project "🥰"

We would like to thank Mrs. Josie Dixon for this distinction!

Many guests came to our celebrations, including:

Consul General in Edinburgh - Mr. Łukasz Lutostański and his wife Chairman of the Polish-Scottish Cultural Association in Edinburgh - Mrs. Izabela Brodzińska

Councillor Tim Jones -Scottish Conservatives

Councillor Kate Campbell – Scottish National Party

Chairwoman of the Ukrainian Club in Edinburgh – Mrs Hannah Beaton

Businesswoman, philanthropist and friend of our school - Mrs. Lesley A. Duncan

Marcelina Bielawska-Mieloszyk – bridesmaid of Zhp Edinburgh – 67 REGLE Scout Team

Agnieszka Wojtkowiak – owner of AKWA – meetings with passion

Together with the guests and the school community, we sang the anthem, because our school also took part in the global #SchoolToHymn campaign that day!

It was a wonderful day full of Polish history and music "🤍""❤️"
